This week's recipe on page 23 from Baking: From my home to yours: Dimply Plum Cake has been chosen by Michelle from Bake-en. I have to admit our family is not the right audience to rate a plum cake, my three gentlemen are not fond of plum or damson cakes. I don't own a square pan, so I used a springform instead. I baked the cake without the cardamom, sprinkled the surface with sugar and served it at my MIL's house. Gladly my husband's new mobile phone has a camera, so we could take some pictures of the final result, because I left the camera at home.

As expected, all eat the cake but there was no wave of exitement, just another plum cake for us.
