Tuesday with Dorie: The Black and White Banana Loaf - Start into vacation
This week's recipe on page 232 from Baking: From my home to yours:
has been chosen by Ashlee from A Year In The Kitchen.
My three gentlemen loved this cake, I don't care for it: Too dense, too much nutmeg. My gentlemen were pleased, so they had the whole loaf, except my test bite...
Dories marbeling technique is totally different from mine, I tried it and I failed. Usually I fill the white dough into the pan and layer this with the dark dough. Than I swirl with a fork through both layers and the cake is black and white.
The recipe is already posted hier, here, here or here. It can be also found by Ashlee atn A Year In The Kitchen. For more Black and White Banana Loafs visit the blogroll at the Tuesday's With Dorie website.
We are now off to the Emerald Isle, so I can't go through all the blogs the next weeks. See you later!
