For Slashfood's Sandwich Day: Sandwich Caprese
Insalata Caprese is a simple salad of sliced fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes and basil. It is seasoned with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Why not put this salad between two slices of freshly baked brown bread?
I used my tomatoes and basil from my garden to make this yummy sandwich.
