In Germany it's not as hot as last month. We had some very cool days, we were thinking of turning on the central heat. But now the summer returned hopefully for longer. Perhaps it's somewhat hotter at Stephanies monthly Blog Party. So I join the party with

200 grams Pack mixed melon pieces
Or
1/4 small Watermelon cut into big cubes
1 small Bunch mint, leaves only
100 grams Feta cheese, 4 oz

A delicious combination of salty and sweet.

Cut the feta into 12 cubes. To make the skewers, thread an olive
onto a cocktail stick, followed by a piece of melon, a mint leaf and
a chunk of feta.

:EASY
:PREP 5-10 mins
:NO COOK
:Healthy choice, low fat
:PER SERVING 59 kcalories, protein 3g, carbohydrate 2g, fat 4g,
saturated fat 2g, fibre none, sugar 2g, salt 1.088

:MAKE-AHEAD
:The skewers can be assembled the night before, just cover and
refrigerate

Dilute 200 ml elderflower cordial in 750 ml sparkling water, add a
handful sliced, fresh ginger, squeeze lime juice, few lime slices
and handful mint leaves. Serve over ice.

MAKE IT FOR ADULTS: Use less water and mix in some white rum.
