We used to eat this cake at the finish of some volksmarches. There was always a tent set up with cakes--I remember two kinds. One was a kind of cheesecake, with a very light fluffy filling, and the other was this cake that you made. My daughter always had to have the cheesecke, and I enjoyed the marmorkuchen. (DH was over at the bier tent!) Thanks for the memories!
