Easter is almost there and that mean eggs and...
advocaat. For an
advocaat cake you can use a finished product. But you can't beat home made advoocat to savour. I want to share a tried and tested advocaat recipe. As a food-chemist-to-be my mate and I made it often with surplus egg samples and not denatured, diluted pure alcohol.

Ingredients
| 6 | | | Egg yolks |
| 150 | grams | | Powdered sugar |
| 200 | grams | | Cream, 30 % fat |
| 700 | ml | | Brandy |

Directions
Whisk egg yolks with sugar until foamy. Bring cream to a boil, cool down (60 °C) and carefully fold into the foam. Stir in the brandy in fill into bottles. Enjoy.
